Meet Amelie!! ❤️
This beautiful soul was abandoned at Animal Control. Due to her owner's negligence, she was no longer pretty enough for them to keep her so they took her to be euthanized.
But God had a different plan, she came to our shelter and look how beautiful she has become. Amelie has gained weight and her fur has come back. She is still a little distrustful of humans, but little by little we are working to gain her trust.
Unfortunately, hundreds of dogs like Amelie are neglected and then abandoned by their owners. Whenever we can, and with your continued support, we will continue to help these little angels become happy, healthy, loving dogs.
Meet Grams!! ❤️
This little chihuahua of only two pounds was rescued from Animal Control today. She is about 15 years old and has no teeth. The person who took Grams to Animal Control said she found her in the street.
This girl is so small and thin and was covered in fleas and ticks. We have cleaned her and fed her all the soft food she wanted. We hope that in a short time Grams will recover both physically and emotionally from all her injuries.
Meet Momma and her puppies!! ❤️
We received a call from Animal Control asking us to pick-up a mother with 12 puppies. Mom and puppies were starving and full of parasites. They are now with us, clean, warm, with plenty of food and water. Soon they will be healthy, happy dogs.
Without Barb's Dog Rescue, this mother with puppies might not survive. Thanks to your support we can provide them with a safe place to live until they are ready to go to their forever home.
